Based in Atlanta, GA, ClickDimensions was founded in 2010 as a provider of marketing automation solutions specialized for the Microsoft Dynamics eco-system. ClickDimensions has grown to be the leading provider of marketing and sales solutions for the Dynamics SMB market and operates in 76 countries around the world. ClickDimensions joined Volaris Group’s MarTech portfolio in January 2023. At that time, General Manager Mike Dickerson was leading ClickDimensions, having joined the company in 2016 following its acquisition by PE firm Accel-KKR Investment.

While private equity firms prioritize maximizing returns for investors, Volaris Group focuses on fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring long term success. Dickerson said the strong financial backing of Volaris parent company Constellation Software made his leadership team confident they were choosing the right partner to position the company for long-term success. “Volaris Group’s ability to put together a deal where there was certainty that it would close was important,” as Dickerson pointed out.

As of 2024, ClickDimensions is under the leadership of General Manager Andrew Jones, who continues to guide the company within the Volaris Group ecosystem. Before stepping into the GM role, Andrew played a pivotal part in ClickDimensions’ recent success story. As Senior Vice President of Revenue, he led the organization to its highest revenue performance in over three years. He initially joined the company in 2022 as Vice President of Revenue Operations, aligning marketing, sales, customer success, and finance to enhance overall revenue efficiency.

I’m incredibly excited to lead ClickDimensions into its next chapter within the Volaris Group ecosystem. Our foundational strength in the Microsoft Dynamics space, combined with Volaris’s long-term vision, positions us perfectly to continue delivering unparalleled value to our global customers and drive sustained growth.

What Set Volaris Group Apart

ClickDimensions’ decision to select Volaris was driven by the alignment of their shared values and long-term objectives. Clear communication and transparency brought a new sense of confidence and excitement within the staff, engaging with leaders from other companies across the Volaris portfolio to share ideas and best practices.

While Volaris offers detailed benchmarking data and talent development opportunities to support the company’s overall strategy, decisions about the company’s path forward remain in the hands of the existing leadership team. Volaris Group’s decentralized approach to managing its portfolio companies allowed ClickDimensions the flexibility to make its own decisions about the company’s long-term vision and its employees, free from arbitrary rules and regulations. As former General Manager Mike Dickerson noted, the model is “very decentralized and very liberating. There’s not a lot of wasted bureaucracy.”

One of the most compelling aspects of ClickDimensions joining Volaris Group is their commitment to our autonomy. It’s incredibly empowering to have the strategic support and resources of a larger organization while retaining the agility and decision-making power of our existing leadership team. This decentralized approach allows us to stay true to our vision and continue innovating for the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem with the confidence that our path forward is truly our own.

Empowering Employees and Optimizing Organizational Design

The Volaris Group “buy-and-hold” principle offers a commitment for nurturing employees, ensuring ClickDimensions’ valuable talent remains part of our stable and forever home. By allowing the leadership team to reshape the organization with long-term success in mind rather than being limited by short term market pressures, Volaris instilled confidence, job satisfaction, and an unwavering dedication to core business objectives.

Customers and partners experienced a seamless transition post-acquisition. The move to Volaris enabled ClickDimensions to tap into a network of financial, operational, and market experts, which further accelerated value delivery across the board. Former General Manager Mike Dickerson noted that the move wasn’t just strategically sound; it was culturally aligned: “It was the best for the employees to go into a never sell, hold forever situation, which was perfect to execute this next stage.”

Volaris Group’s ‘buy-and-hold’ philosophy is a true game-changer for our team. It provides the stability and confidence that allows us to invest in our people and strategically shape our organization for sustained success, free from the pressures of short-term gains. This long-term commitment directly translates into enhanced job satisfaction, unwavering dedication to our objectives, and ultimately, superior performance and value delivery for our customers and partners.

The access to Volaris Group’s proven training programs, peer learning, and strategic frameworks has been instrumental in accelerating our team’s growth. It’s truly empowering to see our employees gain new skills and reach their full potential, knowing they’re part of an organization that genuinely invests in their long-term professional development.

Strategic Alignment for Long-Term Growth

From the outset, Volaris made clear commitments to supporting ClickDimensions’ strategic direction. Through collaborative and intensive strategy sessions, the two teams created a foundation of trust that enabled long-term planning and open dialogue.

Transitioning from conventional, investor-driven timelines to Volaris Group’s strategic, long-term approach to sustainable growth empowered ClickDimensions to fully pursue its long-term aspirations. Free from the constraints typically imposed by private equity ownership, the company was able to make decisions that prioritized overall business success. As former General Manager Mike Dickerson explained, “There’s an understanding of what’s needed from a financial reporting perspective. There’s an understanding of how performance is going to be managed relative to the Volaris ratios, and there’s a very mature, reasonable, and pragmatic approach.”

Working with Volaris post-acquisition has been a truly collaborative experience. Their commitment to our strategic direction, combined with their deep expertise in operational and financial discipline, has empowered us to refine our focus and accelerate growth. It’s refreshing to operate with a long-term perspective, ensuring every decision we make is about sustainable value, not just short-term gains.

Finally, the collaborative culture of Volaris has enabled ClickDimensions to engage with peers across a wide range of industries, reinforcing the value of strategic alignment, shared learning, and long-term growth. Reflecting on his experience, former General Manager Mike Dickerson offered a message to other CEOs weighing a move to Volaris: “If you love your business, if you love your product and your customers, and you love working with the people that you work with, this is the place to go. You couldn’t find a better place.”

For any leader considering Volaris Group, I can attest that their approach truly empowers you to put your business first. If you’re passionate about long-term vision, sustainable growth, and nurturing your team and product without the typical short-term pressures, Volaris provides an unparalleled environment to achieve those aspirations. It’s about building lasting value, not just hitting quarterly targets.
