When Glenn Adams first encountered AssetWorks, he was an IT Manager at Auburn University using the company’s software to support campus facilities. In 2013, he transitioned from customer to colleague, joining the AssetWorks team as Product Manager.
Having once been in the customer’s shoes, Glenn brings a rare depth of industry insight; using that perspective to shape innovative solutions that resonate with higher education clients and strengthen AssetWorks’ customer-first approach.
Today, Glenn is the General Manager (CEO) of AssetWorks Facilities, leading the software business as part of one of Volaris’s longest-standing success stories.
In this video, Glenn reflects on what makes AssetWorks Facilities thrive — staying relentlessly focused on customers’ challenges and continually enhancing its offerings to better meet their needs. The company strengthens its capabilities through internal development and cross-company collaboration, drawing on the collective expertise of the Volaris network to deliver even greater value to its customers.
Glenn shares how Volaris invests in talent development and brings leaders together across its global community to exchange ideas, tackle shared challenges, and grow stronger together. As he puts it, without being part of Volaris, “We would just be on an island.”

Background: The AssetWorks Story
AssetWorks joined Volaris Group in 2008, following its carve-out from U.S.-based government services provider MAXIMUS. The acquisition allowed MAXIMUS to refocus on its core offerings while giving Volaris the opportunity to build a strong, sustainable software business for the long term.
What began as a single carve-out has since evolved into a group of specialized software businesses, each operating independently and serving multiple industries, including Higher Education, Fleet, Appraisal, Government, and Risk Management.
