Volaris is an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU). Founded by Mark Leonard in 1995, Constellation Software is an international provider of software and services to several public and private sector industries. With more than 125,000 customers in over 100 countries and a proven track record of solid growth, Constellation has established a broad portfolio of software companies that provides its shareholders with exceptional returns.
The foundation of what would become Volaris grew around Constellation’s first acquisition, public transportation software company Trapeze Group. Trapeze CEO Mark Miller made his first acquisition in 1996 and incorporated Volaris Group in 2011 as the company began acquiring more businesses outside the public transportation sector. Since then, Volaris has grown to include over 240 businesses in more than 40 different vertical markets across 60+ countries.
