We’ve had a busy few weeks in the Communications and Media group at Volaris with our latest acquisition of NETadmin systems.
With Incognito and NETadmin in our portfolio we now have a strong market position in service fulfillment and device management in HFC and FTTx networks. This hails considerable importance as many operators embrace both technologies in hybrid networks.
The acquisition of NETadmin also strengthens Volaris’ European customer footprint with major market share in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and Netherlands. All five of these geographies are pioneers of FTTx markets.
Promoting collaboration between NETadmin and Incognito will allow us to take advantage of both product sets across geographical markets where each company is strong. This includes Incognito’s lead market share in HFC networks in North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
After entering the Communications vertical in September 2014, Volaris has acquired over 300 customers across 4 continents. This includes major multi-service communications operators such as Net Serviços de Comunicação (Net Brazil), Megacable Comunicaciones (Mexico), VTR GlobalCom SpA (Chile), SuddenLink Communications, Cablevision and Cox Communications (USA), Starhub (Singapore), Com Hem Aktiebolag, TeliaSonera, and Telenor Open Universe (Sweden), M7 Group (Luxembourg), Caiway (Netherlands), and Eidsiva bredbånd (Norway).
We hope to continue expanding our presence in the Communications vertical and invite OSS and BSS business to inquire about joining our growing portfolio.
