We believe that our businesses need to be around forever. When we buy a business, we always say we never want to sell that business. We want to continue to invest in that business. And if you’re going to do that, if you’re going to think long-term, you need to be thinking about organic growth.

You need to be building out your business forever. In order to do that, you’ve got to be building new products, you’ve got to be entering new markets, you’ve got to be refining your existing products—all of those things.

Organic growth shows that you’re really listening to your customers, and you’re really trying to understand what their needs are and solving their problems. There’s tremendous opportunity to do that for our customers, and our people are really, really good at that. And we want them to get better and better over time. So we think it’s just a great way to grow your business.
